Cameron was born & raised in Lynchburg, Virginia where he attended church regularly but lived a hypocritical life pursing the world and idols like football. When Cameron attended Liberty University in the fall of 2012, God mercifully saved him through the witness of his dorm mates, friends and professors. At Liberty, he met his wonderful wife Natalie and they were married in 2016. The Thacker’s moved to Louisville in 2017 for Cameron to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, from which he graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2023. The Thacker’s joined the core team of Commission Church from the very beginning and have lived in Shelbyville since 2021. Cameron enjoys spending time with Natalie and their three children, following his favorite sports teams, running, hiking, hunting, reading, and sipping good coffee.
